The Foundation of Education Development "AWISTA"
in Poznań was founded in May 1991 by individual people.
The aim of the foundation was to develop and run public (private) technical
schools.
In December 1991 the foundation took over the rights and duties of a
founder and a leader of a Public (Private) Secondary School of Economics
"AWISTA" - the first in Poznań private secondary school - from The Chamber of Industrial and Commerce "Poznań".
The school worked till 31 August 2003.
During all these years we were running a few educational programmes together with the partners from among others Germany, Holand, Denmark, Sweden and Belgium.
The programmes were:- International Training Office /ITO/
- COMENICO - Comparison of European Industrial Country Profiles
- International Training and E-Commerce /ITEC/
The realization of the programmes was possible thanks to the grands from the European Union and the programme Socrates Comenius. The programmes' aim was to enrich an offer of educational possibilities for pupils, students and experience exchange for teachers, to open for different cultures and to encourage participants for an initiative and activation ( work with the method "learning by doing" / Lernburo).
Now the Foundation runs the teacher profession improvement agency called The Center of Education Improvement "AWISTA".
It also deals with training people who want to improve, to complete or even change their qualifications and professional capabilities. We propose individual or small groups contacts and working with the method of practice and workshop.
We can help you contact with all kinds of education (school and university students, teachers, other institutions of education, local authorities). We can give information about all kinds of education service in Poznań and the region of Poznań.
